Your POPP Project Manager is your single point of contact and the quarterback of your entire implementation.

What We’ll Need From You

We keep your involvement simple and focused. Your Project Manager will gather a few key details to ensure everything is configured correctly:

  • A copy of your current phone service invoice (for number porting)
  • User list (names, extensions, direct dial telephone numbers, email addresses)
  • Auto attendant scripts and call routing preferences (if available)
  • Floorplan for phone placement (if applicable)
  • Network and IP address details, as needed
  • Any ordered network equipment configuration preferences

That’s it—we take it from there.


Installation, Porting & Testing

We coordinate every technical detail to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Number Porting: Your phone numbers are transferred at a scheduled date and time, typically with less than 5 minutes of downtime
  • Installation: Equipment is installed and configured by experienced POPP technicians
  • Testing: We verify system functionality before you go live

If your numbers are already hosted with POPP, the process is even faster—no porting required.


Service Activation—On Your Schedule

On your chosen activation date:

  • Billing begins only once your service is active

Clean Removal of Old Equipment

Your POPP technician will remove your old phone system equipment, including:

  • Servers or processors
  • Supporting hardware

You can choose to keep, donate, or have us responsibly recycle everything for you at no charge.
